Day 1: VENICE
Arrival to Venice. Walking tour: Rialto, Saint Mark's Square and the Basilica, the Doge's Palace and the Bridge of Sighs. Shopping in the afternoon or optional visits to the island of Murano, Burano and Torcello with glass-blowing factories. Optional gondola ride.
Day 2: VENICE-BOLOGNA-SAN MARINO-FLORENCE
Drive to Bologna and a short tour around the city with the oldest European university. Then to the republic of San Marino with visit of this mini-state on top of a mountain. Continuation to Florence.
Day 3: FLORENCE
Whole day tour of Florence: Duomo, Battistero, Plaza dei Signori, Galleria del Uffizi, etc. Afternoon shopping opportunities.
Day 4: FLORENCE-LUCCA-PISA-FLORENCE
Excursion to Lucca and Pisa. In Lucca, we will admire this extremely beautiful medieval town and in Pisa, the world-famous Leaning Tower and the Piazza dei Miracoli, with the Duomo and the Battistero.
Day 5: FLORENCE-SAN GIMIGNANO- SIENNA-ROME
Drive to San Gimignano, the town of towers. Then to Sienna, by many considered the most beautiful town in Tuscany. Afternoon departure to Rome.
Day 6: ROME
Morning visit to St. Peter's Square and Basilica, the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel. Afternoon free for shopping. Walking tour: Colloseum, Forum Romanum, Trevi Fountain, Navona Square, the Roman Pantheon, the Spanish Steps,...
Day 7: ROME-POMPEII-AMALFI COAST
Morning departure towards Pompeii below the famous Mount Vesuvius. Drive along the Amalfi Coast and overnight.
Day 8: CAPRI ISLAND-ROME
Excursion to the Capri island, where we will enjoy the mesmerizing Blue Cave. In the afternoon return to the shore and back to Rome.
Day 9: Departure home
*Alternatively continuation towards Naples and Pompeii or drive back to North Italy (Milan/Venice airports)
