Day 1: LJUBLJANA AIRPORT-LAKE BLED
Arrival to Ljubljana Airport and transfer to Lake Bled.
Day 2: LAKE BLED-LJUBLJANA-LAKE BLED
After breakfast, sightseeing around the magnificent alpine resort of Bled, the only lake in the Alps with a small island in the middle. A traditional wooden boat called "pletna" can take you there and on the island you can climb the 99 stairs to the church to ring the "wishing bell". From Bled castle, located atop of a cliff, you can admire the amazing panoramic alpine view. In the afternoon departure to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, with a medieval town core and rich baroque architecture. Return to Lake Bled in the evening.
Day 3: LAKE BLED - SALZBURG - LAKE BLED
After breakfast, departure for a full day's excursion to Salzburg (Austria). Mozart's birthplace, Altstadt (old town), on the south bank of the river there is a Baroque fiesta of churches, plazas, courtyards and fountains, oozing charm as you would expect from this Mozart centre. Museums, souvenir shops, coffee houses and liqueur stores are all part of one great homage to the composer. Return to Bled.
Day 4: LAKE BLED - VENICE - PORTOROZ
In the morning departure for Venice (Italy), the floating city. La Serenissima, the Queen of the Adriatic, city of canals, bridges and palaces... On the way back to Slovenia, stop at the Murano glass factory. Late in the afternoon, departure for Portoroz, the most popular Slovoene coastal resort.
Day 5: PORTOROZ-POREC-ROVINJ-PULA-PORTOROZ
Full-day excursion to Croatian Istria Peninsula. Drive along the coast to visit Porec, Rovinj and Pula. Each town has its own marks: Euphrasy's Basilica with beautiful mosaics (on UNESCO heritage list) in Porec, the old part in peninsula in Rovinj and the historical Roman Amphitheatre in Pula are the highlights. Return to Portoroz.
Day 6: PORTOROZ-LJUBLJANA AIRPORT
Transfer from Portoroz to Ljubljana Airport and departure.
